Here’s how it works…
I would love to create an original piece of art for you! No two paintings are the same but if you see a piece of art in my portfolio that you like, I can work with you to create a new piece of art in that style or color palette to achieve a similar look and feel for you. Pricing depends on the size and material (paper or canvas, standard canvas size or custom built and hand stretched canvas.) Because my work is intuitive and driven by the process of building up layers of color and material, I can not provide you with a preliminary sketch. If you’re here, you know what my work looks like and have a general idea of what to expect.
To get started, I will need to know the size(s), description, and any examples of my previous work to have a better understanding of what you are looking for. It also helps if I can see photos of where the painting will “live.” I’m a huge interior design nerd and love homebuilding and decor. I love collaborating with clients and decorators to create the perfect vibe.
We will start with a 30 minute phone call or video chat consultation for me to get to know you better and gather more information. After our initial conversation I will draw up a contract and review all specifics. We will go over all of the pricing information on our consultation call. I request a 50% deposit once the contract has been signed by both parties. I’ll send an invoice for the deposit.
Once I have your approval, contract, and deposit the fun begins! Most commissions take 3-6 weeks depending on my schedule to complete from start to finish. I will send photos for your approval. Once the painting is completed to our mutual satisfaction, the final balance is due and your painting will be ready for delivery and installation if you’re local, or shipped if you are not in the area. I will work alongside you throughout the painting process to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your final piece of original art!
